hi, ppl Basicaly, im trying to make a saber animation, where character smacks the ground with lightsaber, dealing damage. In GID u saw a Repulse- weapon, using hammer- so i was thinking, what animation actually plays DURING the knockback? eg. using Medium (Yellow style) saber, u can have something like R2_B__S1 but knockback does not actually occur then. also id like to know what the knockback depends on (So far, there was a "splash" only if i did the full look down, and attack1. Is it possible so that it occurs with any attack i make? Thanx

You have to make it bounce on the map's geometry (bounceonwalls 1, or something like that) Otherwise it doesn't collide with anything and won't trigger the splash effect. The downside of this is that your sabre will bounce off walls all the time, but it should give you the effect I think you're after.
ok, cheers- but i knew it already, it is in the file What i thought, was that is it possible to make it splash all the time? So it doesnt have to hit anything? Cause also, if i cant find animation that triggers it, i might just as well make it knockback at every attack- now, that would be cool. also, when i tried the saber of Hammer, it hit the npc- and the gaame almost always crashed. Is it fixable?
The hammer crash might be because of a custom model you are playing as. I've encountered this problem in sp when I use a high poly saber with a high poly player model. Try it with good ol' Kyle or Jaden and see if it still happens.
Thats not realy the problem i just need to have the animation names, during which these Splashes occur
I could tell you animation names but I don't know when the splashes occur.

the splash occurs whenever you hit the ground or something and then it will play the knockback animation
Then it doesn't sound animation related. It sounds code related. Imagine you are going to swing a sword and hit a wall. If the sword barely knicks the wall that is where the splashe would occur. Now take one step forward and do the same swing. The sword will impact much sooner in the animation with the wall, and thus a different frame for the splash. That's what I mean with code related.
Ok,look- what i mean is, whn u smack the Floor (!) it does NOT play the animation when saber starts touching the ground, but after that, Every time! Im sure its not code related, its just really hard to find the right sequence. If i look down+ at Max, and press attack1 buton, he smacks ground with saber, and then it bounces off- im using Single saber, so if u know all animations that occur (Hopefully in order), please write them here, because i already tried several, they were not the ones.
Okay here is the red forward attack: BOTH_S3_S1_T_ 12727 45 -1 60 BOTH_A3_T__B_ 424 27 -1 40 BOTH_R3_B__S1 11400 49 -1 60 Here is the bounce: BOTH_B3_T____ 424 3 -1 -10 That is the start, attack, and return for the red forward (W) attack. The bounce is the animation that plays when the saber is defended against or possibly hits a wall.
