MizoreJedi;5671712Thank you! I did not know that you could increase jump in Jedi Academy by pressing jump + crouch like Half-Life, is what's going to get used to super-jump.:)

Well, it's a trick, so I can't expect everyone use it on that part of the map.

New version is available via the same link, change log: - Fixed map bugs on Intro and Cyrrn - Health and shield increased to 65 from 50 (So Silverfang I hope you will be able to win that map with this :P) - Sound errors fixed - English localization fixed - Menu -> Mission list fixed - A quick help file included

Please don't remove the cfg file, and start the game with the exe file! Every opinions are welcome.

You should just make an autoexec.cfg with the correct cvars (i.e. seta g_cvar 1) instead of including a configuration file that overwrites everything

Especially when you have every single video setting (except dynamic glow oddly enough) set to its lowest settings.

I've set everything to the highest in this config. But maybe it regenerates it, if the game detects a different video card. By the way, I can't make an autoexec, since I want to run some commands only on the first start. For example, if a cvar stores if you have won a map, I want it to be kept after you restarted the game.

Hmm, could you make an "installer" that launches the game for the first time and sets those initial cvars?

That way it would generate a configuration file with all your stuff from base and still have the proper cvars

Well, in the released version maybe it would be cool :) However, in this developer version I think it is useless yet for the 2 players who try it, but thanks the idea, I'll work on it if this mod will be continued.

I played the first mission and I like, but I think the super-jump and sense abilities are very basic and all jedi should have them at the end of training. And the super-speed also seems basic to prevent especially shooters shoot you when you attack with the saber and the part where you have to dodge green rays, which do not need the super-speed, but I find that the super-speed is crucial in any jedi in the battlefield.

Another thing I've noticed is that in the second mission the subtitles go too fast to read easily.

Although the work you've done is very good.

See you later!

If Miala would get every force at the beginning, she wouldn't be able to 'gain skills' during the missions. Btw green rays would be just too easy with force speed, then I should have set it to much faster :P And the subtitles are disappearing, since there are no voice actors for them yet. And basically almost all of them will be modified. By the way thanks your ideas ^^

Miala could acquire skills of light side or the dark side with each mission and gain points of neutral skills, but possessing all the neutral skills of level one upon completion of training.

But more importantly, the level where it appears the sand worm going very slow, unplayable. I tried changing the video settings and still the same. Will this problem be because the level is not well optimized?

Goodbye.

Hey,

yes, as I've written, that map is not portaled, since I can't use HINT and etc portalling, I'll need help in that :/ I'll try to find out something now to make it more playable. Btw okay, if we will continue the mod, basic forces will be given better.

EDIT: A new version is up, it's still l4m3, but much better on my comp. Hope this helps you a little.
