i browsed alot of forums this week (ok it was only 3) but ive found alot of different opinions. I just wanted to ask u what tool , u think, is the best to change the textures of a skin. some say photoshop(adope) would be the best way to do it, but my version doesnt do it really :/. can someone give me a link where i can download the correct tool,plz?

why doesnt your photoshop do it? maybe your just not good at using the software, in which case, read the manual to find out which tools to which, and experiment on how best to use them.

Photoshop is better than most programs for texture editing. I use CS2, which is 400$ (there are cheaper versions available on adobe.com I'm sure). Corel is somewhat decent, and paint shop pro if you're desperate.

www.pixel2life.com and www.good-tutorials.com are a great place to get started for learning photoshop and corel.
