I have just started to work on a project to TRY to create a GLM import script for Gmax. I don't have anything done as of yet. I would like to get a team together, and I was wondering if any of you programmers out there would like to help. I would greatly appreciated anything you could contribute. Also, it would be helpful if you had some knowledge of C or C++ considering that the Gmax scripting language is seemingly derived from C.

Right now I am trying to find the GLM file layout. I found this link: BVQX fileformats - GLM - BVwiki I'm not sure if this is just the file header or the entire file...

To people reading this thread: It is not absolute that this will happen, so please don't get your hopes too high up. ;)

Nobody?...hmm... I could also use some help from people that have a lot of experience modeling.

Nope, I'm pretty sure those are only for 3ds Max and don't work in Gmax.

gmax hasnt been supported in years and you usually cant implement anything into free modeling software because it would enable countless design companies to just get the free version and program everything they need in rather than buying the full version.

GLM import for gmax would be relatively useless anyway, unless you want to hack'n'slash existing models which isn't usually recommended by serious modders. Even if you could import a GLM, you couldn't do much with it. Except export it as a static model.
