Hey everyone, yet another problem lol. I am trying to take a robe off of a skin, im using modview, and i know how to take the robe off through the whole model/surafaces thing. once i get finished taking it off through there though, how do i save that to where thats what shows up in game? Im confused!

Modview onyl lets you look at the model, you need a modeling program like 3DSMAX for doing stuff like that.

You need to edit the model's .skin file. You should find a line that says " robe, *blah blah blah*" change it to "robe, *off".

That should do it.

With all the other files with the skin. And that methood will work only if the robe is seprate from the rest of the model, which usally it is.

Considering he took it off with modview, it's a certainty that it's a seperate object.

The skin file should be in the same directory as the textures, /models/players/

You don't remove everything from the line, you just turn it off. How hard can it be? cape, *off
