technically there is a way to do that but it is really hard just have a bunch of triggers on your map in the place where you want it. and then make like a lower version of the sound file. then write a script that says to play the lower one the farther you are away and the normal one when you are close outside of that i don't kniow if it's possible

yes, i have wondered too. to make lower, only thing i can think of is turning it down on the file itself. when i need it greater range, i just put more speakers in.. all i have come up with

k ill just take the easy way out and edit the files lol although i did do some explorin in sp yesterday and came across some areas that had that kind of range we're all looking for. a...friend of a friend of mine opened up some maps on his gtk and took a look at the target speakers inside, and it turns out that raven used Soundset keys instead of noise keys. whats weirder is that the sound files used cant be found in any of the assets pk3's, my guess is that their on the cd itself.. like very interesting dude. so i guess it is impossible...for now im gonna try using soundsets again, and renaming my wav files to match those of the 'ghost files'. ill keep in touch and tell ya if it works or not. thnx for the help btw :bows:

Hmmmm i believe adding multiple target_speakers makes the sound louder, but im not sure, ive not used them for a while lol To make them quieter you would have to edit the actual .wav file to be quieter, ive done this before and the results were just what i wanted :) Im not aware of any command that you could put in the entity window which would alter the range or anything like that though :/ Anyways, i hope you manage to get the effect you want m8 :) Noz
