is there any easy way to un-cap a model in other words how can i reconnect all the limbs back onto amodel
The limb should be connected lready, the caps are there for dismemberment so you don't see a big empty hole when bodyparts start dropping off.
there not connected i can select them and drag them apart from one another
thats how it has to be when you uv map each limb seperately, so the model thats split apart is the one also going into the game. Its fine.
but im using this model for a movie and need it different
just to let you know ive done it in milksahpe by regrouping them thanks anyway
well, ok, and if you really need to, you can merge all of them byu selecting verticies on one part and a verticie on the other and merging them, sometimes called weld by 3ds and stuff like that. Then you would have to remap it i think though, so it wouldnt work for this circumstance.
