so i fixed up some mods like sabermorerealistic by typing the correct code in the shortkut path so thats that but how cold i use pk3 files like that? any ideas? cuz i got 2 awsome mods not working and i need to know if i can run them in my shortkut another guy sayd that he uses OJP enchanted trought a shortcut path so help :)

pk3 files are automatically loaded by the game, you can't run them through a shortcut. Well, you technically could if you put them in their own folder, but it wouldn't have any effect other than stopping you from loading any other mod folders.

Any malfunctions with pk3-based addons are due to either errors in the addon, or conflicts with another installed addon. If you specify which addons you're trying to use, there's a chance someone else may be aware of them and can tell you why the malfunction is occuring.


I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

ok my list i am trying to use is

The force unleashed pack = NOT WORKING WORKED YESTURDAY

Telekinesis v5 grip looks like in the force unleashed and drain looks like the old grip

Force unleashed SP = NOT WORKING

The force unleashed rancor skin

revandark_starwars_hilts

a mod that lets u chose a red saber color when you are picking you saber

Realistic dead bodys = NOT WORKING

Real_effects = NOT WORKING

and thats it i coldnt posibly imagine what wold cause theese not work errors well maybe its my path file "C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\jasp.exe" +set g_sabermorerealistic 3 +helpusobi 1 +load quick +set g_sabermorerealistic 3 +set g_knockback 5000 +set g_corpseremovaltime 0

Well some of those probably conflict with each other. For example you can only have one animation mod in your base folder. If you put two in the base folder only the one with higher alphabetical letter will load. The saber hilts should all work, but they may not show up in the saber menu. When this happens you have to use the console to get them. Press 'Shift' and '~' key (next to the number 1) to bring down the console. Then type: helpusobi 1 to activate cheats. Then type in the sabers name with the saber command saber xxx. The sabers name may be in the readme and if it is not you will need to open the pk3 with winzip or pakscape. Go into the extdata-->sabers folder and there will be files with the extention .sab. These are the sabers. Open them and the name of the saber will be the first line.

Well I don't know what all those files do so I can't tell you for sure. If you want to test them remove them all first and then add them one at a time to test them. When you find two mods that conflict make a note of it and keep which one you like more.

Telekinesis will conflict with the force unleashed pack. Dunno what real_effects is, but by the sound of it it might conflict with the force unleashed pack also. Why would you need a mod to pick a red saber? It's already there. So in summary if you value the force unleashed pack over your other mods remove telekinesis, and if real_effects is a force mod remove that too.

1000 of broadswords realistic? your legs twist around and head twist thats not realistic at all for a fall. 1 just moves the body to fit the surface its on so if you land on a / your body will // and not -/

Lol triton nice demonstration of fall. :p Yar, /broadsword 1 is defiantely the best. No wierd quirks in the way bodies land, but does make angled lands nicer.
