Hey guys,
When you read the title, I'll bet money you thought, "If it's simple, why doesn't he do it?" Well, I can't use XSI on my failbag of a pc, so I turned here. Basically, the model's called Klayman. It looks like Last Wish's style of model, actually. If any modelers are available long enough to make
this (^^), I would be very happy. So would my clan, for what that's worth. Thanks for looking,
Maverick
EDIT: I've got a better picture, so you can see the whole Klayman.
omg... PANCAKES!!

One of the worst excuses ever, XSI isn't very resource intensive and with proper tutorials it's easy to get a hold of it. Not to mention your screenshots from HL2 that prove that your computer could run XSI just fine...
Sorry. I actually didn't take those pictures; they were provided at the source. XSI crashes my computer - only after waiting for it to load, of course. Althouugh that was a while ago... Still.

No need to be mean now Shrod. Maybe there are conflicts that stop him from running XSI. Or maybe he got the picture off of the internet. Either way, it's not his fault it doesn't run. Anywho, on a helpful note, I'd be happy to try and make this for you Maverick. I'm busy with the rancor project but after that I'll try modeling this, I have some basic modeling ability so I'll see what I can do. If any other modeler cares to take this up then please do, you'll probably do a better job than I can anyways.
XSI is fast while its running but if you got a bunch of stuff running or your clicking and typing while its starting up it can crash sometimes. everyone i usually tell this to gets it working cause they close all the pointless stuff they got running in the background while starting it up. you can run tons of things while its open, its just sensitive while starting up.
@Botdra, thank you very much! Don't feel like you have to rush the Rancor; you don't. Again, thanks very much! minilogoguy, what happens is it boots up, the Softimage/XSI logo comes up, but when it disappears, it's just white. Then it says it's not responding.
i cant wait till i get 3ds max 7 :|

exactly, just leave it be, i know plenty of people who had the same problem with mod tools, even i did since i usually keep it installed even with the full version to help others with it.
i used to have max 7 but got rid of it since its performance sucked whenever i had something higher poly than a JA model in a scene, i used to be a big fan of it but i dont think id use it anymore.
Anytime Maverick. I had the same problem with XSI ModTools so I moved on to 3DSMax 8. And yes, I tried closing everything in the background and it still just would not open. I didn't even touch anything, still wouldn't open. I just gave up and I'm fairly happy with 3DSMax.
