I've been looking for a free voice creator, in which I write text, the program creates the voice, where the voice's frequency and pitch are modifiable, and it can become a .mp3.

I would not prefer real people's voices, only voices from the machine.

I'm not sure, but I think the mod, "Dark Origins," for JKO had some computer generated voice.

Thanks.

Speakonia could work, but it has a habit of crashing.

If you have access to a Mac, open Terminal and then type

say

then type what ever you want. Use iRecord to record what you type. This will imitate a human, but sound like a machine. My preference. (sounds like machine creator made some effort)

Hehe, buy autotune.

Of course that is if you have thousands of bucks or so.

Once you create the .mp3 from Speakonia you could load it up into Audacity and change the pitch, speed, create echoes, etc..

Was just about to suggest the same as the above poster ^_^ Audacity is probably your best option.

I just looked at Audacity, but I'm not sure how to make voices on it and change the Hz.
