I have been having some trouble lately with a custom shader. Others have tried it and it works. For me, it glows, it is transparent, but I CANNOT walk through it >.< it is non-solid, and I am just using it wrong probably. Can anyone tell me how to make a brush "ghostly" so that I may just walk through it. Would be much appreciated. It is already set to "nonsolid" yet I just can't manage it O_O Do I have to do anything special in GTKRadiant, I've tried Caulk_nonsolid too on part of the brush, and it worked... once -_- then it just stopped being nonsolid for some unknown reason!
Just make the whole brush nonsolid and apply the texture on X side(s)and after that...DONT TOUCH IT :P
Wait huh =S I am very confused (please don't think I am a noob >.<) but yah :S WHAT!? lol... ok my shader makes the texture nonsolid... so I just put the texture on... wait... :S I'm confused... step by step please...
1.Make the brush where you are going to have your texture. 2.Cover the whole brush with "Caulk_nonsolid" 3.Cover the parts where you are going to have your texture. 4.Done!
That is precisely what I was trying and it didn't work =\ but! I have just covered the parts not being seen in NODRAW and it works =\ I don't understand what was wrong with my shader but meh =S I'm happy now, my teleporter actually looks realistic *thumbs up*
