Why doesnt some one make the prelude to dark forces? Where Kyle served as an imperial and worked for the empire. I would have thought that their would have been like a million single player episodes of that by now.

The story would be more than fun to writte and the characters would be awesome and the ending where kyle leaves the empire has much potentiall to be a gripping and awesome momment ..

I would gladly help with story , characters and the like. I purpose that we make the prelude to dark forces. There are books of the sort but I would rather go our own way.

Pm me or respond to me here if you are interested. IF you are semi interested and want me to start writting the story with you then please reply or if you like the idea and wish to abduct the project that would be cool too. I would like to help with the story though..

No one does that because either they're not good enough, or they're a long-term fan of the series who realises that a fan game would tarnish the honorable name of Dark Forces.

The backstory has already been written, anyway - a far better path would be adaptation rather than rewriting. Rewriting it just seems pointless - you'll never be able to get anything that ties in with Dark Forces as well as the canon stuff, and let's face it - fan-fiction is never anywhere near the quality of the canon stuff because people always rewrite it to how they think it should have happened, usually turning it into a cheap rip-off of some inferior game/book/movie in the process.

If you're going to do this at all, adaptation of the official backstory is the only logical option.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

Very well.
