Synopsis: (Trying to make this sound interesting without giving away the story, it's not easy!) In a time of war, oppression and betrayal, the Empire is challenged by a new, internal threat. In the few years before the Battle of Yavin, a splinter group led by an Imperial Moff is establishing itself as a formidable, unorthodox military force attempting to overthrow Emperor Palpatine. As a galactic smuggler and pilot of one of the fastest ships in existence, both the Empire and the Alliance call on you to defeat this powerful foe. Which side will you choose?
The mod will feature a variety of gameplay: All-out firefights, stealth missions, puzzles, exploration and driving - you name it (except a tetris themed mission, perhaps) in a galaxy which you can explore in a semi-free roaming manner. It's also fairly open ended; depending on which factions you fight for, you'll be sent on different missions. Sometimes you'll even be given the option to fight one battle from either side.
Currently in development by two people, we're rather understaffed at the moment, so I'd appreciate any help that can be given. I've set up a Mod Database page as a showcase, but it's currently still awaiting validation. The address will be: Star Wars: Project Nexus mod for Star Wars: Jedi Academy - Mod DB

No Tetris-themed missions?
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
Well, maybe a rockslide where you have to use the force to push rocks into correctly shaped holes to stop them falling on you, you knows?

Ho... A very ambitious project. You sure you can pull it off? Making lots of levels to fulfill that description is no walk in a park nor is it going to be as pleasurable as eating a piece of cake baked by Inyri.

lol was gonna say somthing really bad which im sure would offend inyri and get me a "come back in two days ticket"
i like anything which is free roaming so i will follow with pleasure, if you are gonna do some coding why not do a TFU based coding so you can pick up stuff with the force and throw it at stormies, (probably not but i cant wait for TFU)
With enough caffeine, we can do anything.
Seriously though, it's not as big a task as it might seem. One map can be used as a location for many missions of different types, so the mapping load isn't as much as you'd think and once I have a plan for an environment, I can work pretty quickly from it. The main issue is in other areas, with time devoted to mapping and creating the missions (As well another project) things like modeling, animating and the like are going to be problematic.
Mmmmm....caffeine :) Sounds like this'll be a neat mod. Good luck!

What of CW?
You'r trying to give me some competition arn't you? *runs to find better ideas*
I came up with this (and started a map for it) Looooong before you started that thread.
And I'm still working on CW, more than I am on this.
