I didn't make it!
personally id love to see someone model the nightwatch man from the new TMNT movie who is actually raph cause that model would so kickass
you don't have to put the same face to all the characters... for example import the jaden model on the 3dS and look how it's done. You can copy the head four times and give to each head a different expression, and then when you are making the skin files you select the head that you need...
all of this before you mapped the head of course so you copy the head with the maps
I hope he would make each one have a facial expression that really was them.
Mad Eyes and Mad mouth = Raph Mad Eyes, sorta grin = Leo Crazy period, yet my fav turtle = Mikey And an open expression = Don
you mean after you mapped the head, LS =). but he's right, you can go into that little extra effort in making them look different.
oh yea after sorry, I still have some problems with my english :)
As with the eye thing I believe it could be something like this... also the mouth should change too... raph angry, mike happy, leo something between normal and angry and don normal. Also with the skins you can make some changes too
Those are actually pretty good representations of what I said. How did you make those?
magnetic lazzo, liquify filter, and a simple color brush... it's more simple for me to explain what I mean with an image than with words :)
I can tell, but I can't do that.....
Well, it sounds all good and fine. I will make different expressions for different turtles, but would I not be able to rig the mouth and eyes anymore? Also, I have no clue how to do this right. I will be able to make four different variants of the same head, but I don't know how to get them all in game. So when it comes to that moment, I hope that I could get some help in that...
don't worry about the heads now, first finish the model, the maps and all once you have your model finished and you start the rigging you only need to copy the head three times ( in the same place ) and give those copies different names ( head_leo, head_raph, head_don etc ) modify the expresions the way you want and rig each head the same way ( I'm not sure if you can copy the rigged head and modify the vertices later, I think you can, that way you can skip the rigging of each head ). Then link all the meshes and export... if all worked well you can change the heads with the skin files.
