...Rancor!! Alright, so I'm starting to work on a new version of the base rancor, turning it into the one from The Force Unleashed. There is one on JK3files already and it's a good job, but I just wanted to improve on that. That being said, all these textures were either made by me, or just modifying the base rancor textures, nothing more. Let's see what I can make out of this... If you have any suggestions as to how I could make it better or more complete, feel free to let me know! Wish me luck, I will be posting progress pictures soon.

aww you beat me to it I was also working on one but I guess i'll let ya do yours... I suggest using a program like gimp, and making all new shaders for the rancor

You should do yours anyway. Theres nothing wrong with having more than one, and theres nothing wrong with variety either.

I would try using this shader it works really good with spec maps models/players/rancor/rancor_head { { map models/players/rancor/rancor_head } { map gfx/effects/chr_white_add_mild blendFunc GL_SRC_ALPHA GL_ONE tcGen environment } { map models/players/rancor/rancor_head_spec blendFunc GL_SRC_ALPHA GL_ONE detail alphaGen lightingSpecular } }

I would try reskinning the mutated Rancor. It looks more like the Rancor from TFU, in my oppinion.

Maverick, that wouldn't work. Have you seen the mutant rancor model? It has many un-needed parts, like the tanks on his back, etc...And there are two rancors from TFU, I'm doing the one from the first post only. leonkennedy4011: Thanks man, I'm no good with shaders so this will be great. You could probably remove all that stuff in the skin file.
