Alright, so I'm done the basic body. I changed the colors, added some details, and that's about it so far. A few problems though. 1) In ModView, only one half of the face shows up. The other half is white. Yes, I saved the files as .jpg and .tga, both have the same effect. Yes, I made sure all files paths and file extensions were correct in the model_default file. 2) I need to add some shaders later, but I have no clue where to start. 3) I have no idea what to do with the spec textures, as I've never made a skin that needed them or came with them. And yes, it will be available as a vehicles if I can figure out how to set it all up. Any suggestions about what to add as far as NPC, bot support, or any other features are totally welcome.

Well for vehicle you can make it replace the base one since no npc rides a rancor.

Well If you dont add any shaders by default the rancor has shaders so just naming the specmap for its head rancor_head_spec then it should show up already you can make a good spec map...by..well I use gimp but I asume photoshop is simaler go into "lighting and shadows" wich is in "filters" and in lighting you click "lighting effects" a window should come up and have a few tabs on it one says bumpmap click that tab then check the box press ok to finish it. after a few secends the picture you have sould look shiny and bumpy also in order to make spec maps always start with the original pic you had then when its done save it as spec at the end of the name I hope that helped a little XD

So to create a spec texture I just go into Photoshop and use Lighting Effects, then save it as rancor_****_spec? Well I know nothing about shaders, or making this into a vehicle, so any help in that department would be nice as well.

botdra i figured out why none of my shaders worked before...so if you want Ill help you make your shaders...
