lodaoh ok.. well the link i gave to it was a filefront link lol.. (its hosted on filefront) so....... uh.... and it used to be on jk3files

Well, yeah, that logic is fair enough. A lot of people get confused over that, really.

Bottom line is, if it used to be on JKFiles and got taken down, there's usually a good reason for it. ;)

More of a double whammy, in this case, because not only were a lot of the extras in that map ported, Hatrus actually claimed credit for them as well. Which is... well... I don't think I need to point out the obvious dishonesty in someone claiming all the credit when they've done none of the work, eh?

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

Didn't lag me, only when I had more than 15 other players. I had full graphics on too. ;) Kouen: Maybe you should make a list of the items that have been banned from FileFront. Well, the JK and JO ones I mean, and post it in the forum. Just an idea.

Oh yes, that's brilliant. Let's give everyone a list of what's illegal so they can find it easier.

Haha not quite what I was thinking Inyri! I just thought it would be good to tell them what to stay away from. Which is NOT this:

Well nobody's going to get in trouble for being naive. Kouen's only gonna get angry at folks who are repeat offenders and obviously know better. ;)

True, but I have had experiences where ported files mess up your computer if you have the game they were ported from on. SEVERELY mess up. As in, I had to get a new PC.

I sincerely doubt that.

Well let's see, something I downloaded had ported Call of Duty: United Offensive content, so my computer got the files mixed up because they were under the same name and somehow were still accesible by CoD code. Go figure. So CoD came back with an error. Game doesn't work, oh well, just uninstall it and no problems right? Well I uninstalled CoD but those two files were left there, the ones I downloaded. So I tried deleting them but it said I did not have the permissions to. Even though I am the Admin of the computer (Seeing as I am the only one that uses it and has a profile on it). So I took it down to the Geek Squad and they said I had to spend $200 to find out they can't do anything about it. I tried even replacing the hardrive but since my PC is connected to the internet that file had running contact with my computer, not just those files. So I disconnected my internet, reconnected, and when I ran AVG, Norton, and Ad-Aware they found over 3,000 viruses. 150 of which were trojans. So I deleted them all succesfully (After 4.5 days of running those programs xD) and then didn't use the PC for a few days, went back and the files were still there. after all the deleting and virus scanning. Or rather, they re-appeared. Then, a month later of repeating this process several times, I saw that the files had duplicated and were being resent to my pc every 2 weeks. So I blocked the source they were coming from using all the info I could gather about the mystery files. They came again, so I gave up and took it back to my local computer hospital with no luck again. Threw it out and bought a new one. Total cost: Somewhere around $600 in replacing parts and paying to find out absolutely nothing. Good times huh?

Well them I'm sure it was the viruses that destroyed your PC and not the mods . I'm confused why you didn't just reformat your PC.
