Hello friends, I've been animating with 3ds max, I exported my animation to dotXSI. Now this is the part I'm having troubles with, I looked through a variety of websites that have the similar "tutorials". Though it does not give a round outlook on actually how to use Assimilate.

Does anyone have any links to a tutorial with the same circumstances I'm trying to do?

If you don't, I would also like to ask, if someone could share on how they do it, step by step on this thread. Or if not you may contact me possibly through via e-mail.

Probably the easiest way would be to weight a model (kyle would likely be a wise choice), animating that and then, after the esport to XSi, in Assimilate, to let it make it's own skeleton while using the _humanoid.gla as bone reference, so you get a .gla with your anims that is 100% compatible to the with the normal _humanoid one and thus can be merged .

There's also always Dragon for animations...

dragon=grody youll just have to compile it as if it were a vehicle and not use the _humanoid.gla at all.
