Hi, I am looking for someone to possibly make me a saber... or 2 if its cool with them. What they basically are is a reskin of the darth maul sabers... the double and the singular (half) one, instead of being metallic silver, a shiny black plastic. Please and Thank you

How bout, instead you take gimp/photoshop, circle around the zones you want, press CTRL-U, and tweak all you want, that's the best advice you can get, and be sure to ask for permission from the creator.

The single and dual variants of Maul's saber. http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/Final_Duel_Maul_Sabers;37281

I searched for 'maul' on JK3files. There's a link to GIMP in the Tools/Tutorials sticky (go to the JK3 Modding/Editing page and look at the top threads) and you can google up a tutorial for making shiny plastic. If you wanted, you could search for Photoshop plugins that people have made and how to get them working. Having all the extra image wizardry means that you can search 'plastic photoshop tutorial' and get more options than with GIMP. GIMP is great, there's just not as many diverse tutorials as with other programs.

One piece of advice: If you are going to start a thread with a name like "Yet another..." please don't start it. Is like calling someone for something you know he will find annoying and start the conversation with "I don't want to annoy you but...". What you need is easy to learn and you won't be missing the satisfaction of accomplishing what you want just by yourself.
