1: I have no clue how to make a correct skybox in my maps, can someone help me? 2: How do you compile your map into a PK3, so it shows up as a selectable map in the menu(s)? 3: Can anyone show me a really good tutorial document for modelling? 4: And a good tutorial document for skinning?

Load the "skies" textures, and texture that says "sky" on it is a skybox. Just surround your map with it. The pk3 has next to nothing to do with showing up in the menus or not. What makes it show up in menus is the .arena file. Both pk3s and arena files hsould be covered in the master sticky.
So when you have a giant box around your map, with the sky texture.... How do you know you got the correct sky file? (EX: Yavin sky/Byss sky/Wedge Sky/etc.) And I'm hoping, when you place a sky box around your map, it covers up map leaks right? Because the map i'm working on has a map leak right in the beginning.

You can tell which sky you got by looking at the name of the shader you used.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
Oh.... didn't notice that before.... Very nice thanks! My final question is, how do you get the lighting on the map to work? (shadows/lights/etc) I'm using the light thing, and setting it to like, only 10. Yet my map is completely lit up. What's wrong?
