Hello, this thread is aimed at whoever approves files. I finished a file yesterday, and I asked a friend of mine to test it, since I didn't have the time. They did, and they submitted it for me. However, it wasn't finished, as I had messed up the npc support. I fixed the problem, and tried to re-submit the file, thinking it would overwrite the bad file. Not so. So there are two of the same file floating around now, one works and one doesn't. :( SO, if it would be possible for someone to help me out, that'd be great. Thanks in advance. EDIT: The best way to tell the files apart is by the name of the .zip file. The file that works is exile_reborn_v2.zip. The bad one is exilerebornv2.zip.
Found and removed. No sweat, it would have been deleted anyways, we always favor second submissions for this reason.
You're correct, file submissions do not get overwritten by a second submission. On occaision, we'll even get a file that has been submitted three times.
I'm confused about why a friend would submit your work, you're supposed to submit your own...tell you what, get a damp paper towel and slap them on the cheek with it.
The friend had been at my house, and I had to go to a practice for something, so I told him to send it in. He hadn't done any work on it though. He just tested and submitted it. But he didn't test the whole NPC thing. But no harm done. I've got a wet paper towel for the next time I see him.
I didn't make it!
Wet paper towel? Slapping people? And I thought I'm the most pervish one here. :lulz:

Old thread is old. And it's been stuck on the front page of jkfiles for a month or so... :uhm:
