Alright, I downloaded a skin that was created for a reviewer on the site known as none other than Averus Retruthan. In the .pk3 file was promised three versions of him. However, I only recieved one version of him: the unmasked, unhooded version. Not only that, the custom voices aren't working. It's either Jaden talking, or a Reborn. This is a link to the file: Averus Retruthan, Jedi Knight 3 Downloads, Jedi Knight 3 Celebrities I'm really just wondering if anyone would know the problem. I'd REALLY like to get it working. I already tried taking everything out except the skin, and even uninstalling and reinstalling the game...yet nothing works. It still only gives me one skin, and the custom voices are also not present in the skin. If anything, I'd like just the masked, robed skin of him. I don't really care about the others at this point. Is there anyway to make that possible, perhaps?

Firstly there are no custom sounds for this skin. You can look inside the PK3 for yourself and see that there are none; the skin it set to the cultist3 soundset. Secondly, if the alternate skins aren't showing up you'll need to manually change your model to them (hooded, robed, masked).

Alright. Someone may want to update the skin's page saying there aren't any custom sounds then. Well, I mean...unless those ARE the custom sounds. Also, the model does not appear as a customizable model, if that is what you are referring to. If not, I'm guessing you mean typing it in to load up the skin. Right?

You will need to use the console to set yourself to those skins if they do not appear in the icon window.

Right. *sigh* Okay. I admit...I doubt I know how to do that. I'm pretty sure I have an okay idea of how it's done, but...well, I don't even have a program to open a .pk3 file, so I definitely wouldn't know what to type into the console... I tried opening it in Notebook to see, but...well...I'm guessing .pk3 files aren't meant to be read in Notebook, because it was an unreadable jumble of symbols. I'm sorry. The one thing I hate more than anything is coming onto a forum site and being so unknowledgeable about a commonly-known subject, but sometimes I guess it's just unavoidable. Won't learn unless I ask, though.

Oh, sorry. Based on your last post I assumed you knew how. It should be simply a matter of typing model Averus/robed (or Averus/masked or Averus/hooded) in the console (for multiplayer). Been a loooong time since I've done this, though, and my game is installed on an external hard drive that I don't have right now. Try that and see if it works.

Hmm...well, I think I got the hang of it, but no matter what I type in, when I type in Averus Retruthan, he remains unmasked and unrobed.

The folder name is Averus, not Averus Retruthan. You need to type model Averus/masked or model Averus/robed or model Averus/hooded exactly as I wrote them into the console.

Yes I did. What I tried first to make sure I was doing it right was use another model name at random. Then I typed in "Averus Retruthan" and he popped back up. But I tried what you said as well and it still stayed the same. He has no mask and no robe, although the console seems to recognize what I put in as a model. Very odd... The robed one appears and the hooded one appears, but when I type in "masked," which happens to be the one I'm looking for, it just stays as the unmasked, unrobed one.

Sorry, I lied a little. The masked version should be model Averus/mask. I just got my hard drive and tested these out for you and the directions I provided you work as intended. Make sure you're inputting the text into the console exactly as I advised you (minus the one correction I just made).
