Hi everyone I think All of you know me...but my name is -=Sarge=- or TubbyTim in forums. I have a question. Does anyone know why I get this: Error: SV_SetBrushModel: NULL model for ent number 214 That's the error I get. So I delete/ redo ent 214 and fix it but then get the next one with the same error only like 213 or 212 and everytime I fix one it just says the NEXT entity doesn't work! What do I do? Do I have to redo EVERY entity in my map? PLEASE! Can someone help me!?!?!?! :(

The map has some brush ends that are only one unit thick. I am not sure what the minimum thickness is supposed to be, but it apparently needs to be thicker than one unit.

Your map may also get this error when there is a brush model entity that does not have any valid brushes, i.e. a func_rotating entity with nothing but a common/origin brush.

I KNOW THIS lol and sorry I didn't respond sooner. I was grounded. Umm...what would a brush end be? Does that mean like the edge of the brush or the whole brush In general? And also do your or anyone know why it's doing this to EVERY entity in my map? PLEASE! If I have to I will redo all the ent's in my map but I have a TON so that would take FOREVER! -=Sarge=-

i think you have made thesame wrong at all entitys. delete, (yes, try is the best way to solve this) redo, and be sure that you have made everything with the entitys right. and one little "offtopic -thingy": capsLock is not your friend. it looks better without capitals ;) :p

Alright...but why did I only suddenly get this? It worked fine before and then I added some stuff and I got this. But I deleted the added stuff and other stuff as well! And I don't use caps lock I use shift hehe. But yeah I'll keep that in mind. O and are you SurE there's no way to just clean up my already made enities. Ya know like brush cleanup! Is there a ent. cleanup?

ive got that a couple of times, couse of bad entity scripting. chech your latest made entitys and see if there are no strange scripts in it - or If you go to misc/find brush, then you can find your entity. it works for both brushes and entitys ;) no, i dont think thereĀ“s a ent-cleanup. lol for shift -button :)

alright...i know about the find brush i tried THAT. I would find the ent # that was "bad" and then delete/ redo it. BUT then it would just say the next ent was bad, even if I made it like at the beggining of my MAP! Can I send you my map and see if you can fix it? And when you say bad script, what should I look for. And also what did you do to fix it when you got it? Thanx for all your help so far Iswer! ;) O and I've improved LOTS since you saw it last (when you fixed it lol) -=Sarge=-

YEAH! lol I think something IS wrong...*sigh* And yes I know your email. I'll send it to you on Thursday cause I'm going to my grandpa's and he has dsl LOL . So yeah I'll send it to ya soon! O and the pk3 has all the nessacarry things in it ie shaders, textures, scripts, etc. And also feel free to make suggestions! ;)
