Hello!
I have a big problem :( When I try to export a model in Milkshape as a ".glm-file", the program crashes!
So I have to save it as .md3!
BUT I CAN't convert it to a GLM, because MD3Viewer is not working on my computer (crashes on startup)
"Could not find the main class. Program will exit!"
MD2View can't open md3-files -.-
I tried XSI Mod Tools but I think there is no way to export as glm... :(
What can I do?
I have Windows Vista Home Premium. Graphis Card: ATI Radeon HD3870X2 CPU: AMD Athlon 64X2 6400+ (Dual Core)
So what shall I do?
Could be a Vista problem. Have you tried running those programs with Administrative priviledges enabled?
Yes, I tried to run gmax, milkshape and MD3Viewer as Admin or in compatibility-mode for WindowsXP / 2000 / NT...... :/ nothing worked :(
gmax doesn't start.... milkshape can't export a glm-file (it crashes) MD3Viewer doesn't start... I didn't find andy option in XSI Mod Tools to save as glm (think it's not possible?)
:uhm:
FireDragon100;4557177Yes, I tried to run gmax, milkshape and MD3Viewer as Admin or in compatibility-mode for WindowsXP / 2000 / NT......
Or? :Puzzled: Try running in compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 2) with Admin priviledges enabled and disabled Desktop Composition.
It's also not working when I do all 3 things you told me together :bawl:
=(
Then I don`t know what`s wrong. If you can get your hands on some XP computer, try it there. It`s probably bloody Vista giving you hard time. :clueless:
If you have an XP CD and a big enough hard drive, you could just do a dual boot on your computer, have it so you can choose Vista or XP when you start up...
This is why you don't get Vista if you wanna have fun, or mod.
hmm are there other programs to convert md3 to glm?
my hard-disc-drive is not big enough for a second OS
