So I built my new computer recently (My computer using spare parts) and Im using an ATI Radeon 9600 with Omega Drivers, which when it was installed to my old setup (different mobo and cards) it worked fine. Now all I seem to get is could not intialize open GL sub system. IDK why, I checked the trouble shoot and it didnt say there was anything that would cause this, my only idea would be to use stock drivers but If I do that then I cant play half my other games. Any suggestions?

What OS do you have? XP, Vista or something else?

XP, though I thought that most would assume Xp, its service pack 3 with the most recent updates.

Have you tried using the newest version of the Catalyst drivers? If you didn't, give them a try:

ATI Catalyst? Legacy Display Driver

You can also try using older Catalyst versions. With luck, you'll be able to find the version that allows Jedi Academy and your other games to work.

Previous Catalyst? Drivers for Windows XP

Start from the top and work your way down the list. You'll have to do lot of installing and uninstalling, though. Good luck.

I had the catalyst drivers and I ended up changing over to the Omega Drivers (a custom made version which has been proven to increase performance) I really do not want to go back to the Catalyst because it prevents my Oblivion from running.
