Hi, I'll keep it short and sweet this time. Before, I used to be able to compile my maps anytime I needed to. I didn't change anything in any of the folders. One day, I added some brushes and entities in my map and tried to test it out to see how it looked. The compile process starts and then exits abruptly. Here are the last couple lines of the console. saveprt = true fastvis = true Loading U:/home/ameen/jediacademy/base/maps/lhq.bsp Loading U:/home/ameen/jediacademy/base/maps/lhq.prt ************ ERROR ************ LoadPortals: couldn't read U:/home/ameen/jediacademy/base/maps/lhq.prt I tried searching for the error in these forums, but honestly, the search process is very horrible. Eh, not rant time. So please, if you know how to fix this, I would gladly appreciate it.
You have no Gamedata folder. I doubt this is the problem, but it may.
actually, it probably is if that file path is wrong.
Other than that, if the map is leaked the prt won't be created.
I fixed it. Not quite sure how. All I did was delete a couple brushes that I made with the polygons tool. By the way, the Gamedata folder isn't needed if you don't use the Launcher to start the game.
