Say what programs and tutorials do i need to successfully compile a .roq video file for Jk3?
Get the Quake Video Maker. The help file that comes with this program should be more than enough. And no, I will not google a link to it for you. Just go to google and put in "Quake Video Maker" >.
Meh, I found the one in the SDK to be kind of confusing. I like QVM better.
hm.... i got roq.exe with one of the JA tool packs.... but yeah thanks guys, ill have a look for these programs later. and is QVM free?
Well I didn't pay for it, so I'm assuming it's free... hehe.
Naughty Inyri! I didn't know you could hack! j/k (Sorry if I violated the CoC [not sure if I did]..a mod can just delete this post they feel the need)
Inyri And no, I will not google a link to it for you.
Hehe. Never ask Inyri for free links :p
lol Quake Video Maker is free ;) And I don't go look up stuff when I'm busy, hehe. Of course I always make time to post... *whistle*
Alright. are there any particular programs i need to run it? and btw, can i use QVM to compile video data from a DVD? and is there a way i can compress the .roq file as well without putting it into a .zip?
I don't know. I know QVM will compile roqs from AVI. You'd have to read up on it. As for compression, usually roqs aren't that big. How long of a roq video are you planning on making?
