I downloaded this (General Grievous, Jedi Knight 3 Downloads, Jedi Knight 3 Star Wars) file from the Jedi Knight 3 filefront and extracted the pk3 into my base folder. However, when I went to play the single player game using this model it did not appear as a choice to select.

Would having another model installed already stop this one from working? I already have one of hapslash's models in the base folder.

Uhh.... :uhm:

It's not made to be available from the creation menu. You need to use the console to use it.

you have to have sp support (which this does not have) for it to be in the sp selection. Other than that you have to put "playermodel (insert model name here)" only thing with that is that you can not be seen as greivous in the cutscenes.

I tried to figure out if it was SP compatible and someone implied that it was. How can I tell? Sorry, I'm new to this site.

Would this one be able to work? Four Armed Grevious, Jedi Knight 3 Downloads, Jedi Knight 3 Star Wars

Heres a quote from the author of the 4 armed Greivous:

Instructions: Singleplayer- Once your in the game, hit "shift and tild (~)" to activate the console. Next type "devmap t1_surprise" (or replace t1_surprise by any other map name)... hit enter (this will load the map with the cheats on) Here's a hint start you favorite mission and open the console {hit "shift and tild (~)} the map's name will appear in the console's log.

Next type "playermodel grievous4" to play as a 4 armed General Grievous. type "npc spawn grievous4" to have a 4 armed General Grievous ally to assist you in your mission. type "npc spawn grievous4_duel" to have a 4 armed General Grievous foe to duel against.

Finaly Close the console by hitting the tild (~) again.

Play and enjoy

You can only use the 4 armed Greivous by using the playermodel command, the model will automatically go back as Jaden when you go to the next mission though so you'll have to type playermodel grievous4 every time you go on a mission in singleplayer.

Someone could probably make both models work for single player though, or you could possibly do it yourself.

This should help: Jedi Knight Files - Single-Player Species
