Well, I am a mapper, and I am starting to try to use shaders in my maps. But I can't get this glass to be transparent. Can anyone tell me what im doing wrong? textures/snipeglass/glassy { qer_editorimage textures/snipeglass/glassy qer_trans 0.4 surfaceparm nonopaque surfaceparm forcefield surfaceparm trans q3map_material Glass q3map_nolightmap { map textures/snipeglass/glassy tcGen environment } }

A blend mode on that might help you out a bit. :D textures/snipeglass/glassy { qer_editorimage textures/snipeglass/glassy qer_trans 0.4 surfaceparm nonopaque surfaceparm forcefield surfaceparm trans q3map_material Glass q3map_nolightmap { map textures/snipeglass/glassy tcGen environment blendfunc GL_ONE GL_ONE } } Edit: If the glass comes out too bright with that, you can also add a "rgbgen const" line underneath the blendfunc line to make it a tad darker. (this would only work with blendfunc GL_ONE GL_ONE, though.) Like this: rgbgen const (0.7 0.7 0.7) That would make it 7/10 the top brightness.
