Ok, so I have had jedi academy for like 2 years now and final decided to add some custom duel music from JKfiles. Now I went put the duel music in my base folder and go start a duel game and it simply plays the maps default music... Hopfully someone can tell me what I am doing wrong.
Duel music mods only apply to private duels.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
Ah, so I can only use it online... Hmmm, Well are you aware of any mods that allow you to use your own music?
You can mute the ingame music and use a killtracker (or better yet, forsake the killtracker entirely, play the game windowed and have Winamp in the background - Winamp is less of a memory-whore than the KT).
Otherwise, you can overwrite the music the same way you'd overwrite anything else. MP3 file in a new pk3, and make sure the filepath to your music is exactly the same as the filepath in the assets, and make sure that your pk3's name begins with any letter from B-Z.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
Ah, two very good ideas, thanks Kouen.
