Somehow a siege server from overseas loaded a bunch of pk3s when I conencted to their server. As such, my siege map access in multiplayer is whacked. When I try to connect, I get the following error message: "Unexpected EOF while looking for group ___________" (the blank space indicates any number of desert, hoth, or korriban rebel or imperial pk3s) Any idea what I can do to fix this? I uninstalled and re-installed JKA, JAplus 2.4 beta, the official update/patch, Raven software's bonus maps, etc. I still get the same error though. I can still go play CTF and FFA though, so it must be a pk3 problem, right?

Have you tryed connecting to some other siege server? Maybe there is a problem with the one you are trying to connect to.

This sounds like an incomplete Team/Class script which are used in siege mode (EOF=end of file). Try to clean ur base folder by removing all pk3's except assets0-2.pk3 (this is basejka). If this works put back the pk3's u know (maps, skins, etc..) and try again. If ur using japlus u will also need the japlus_gla_anims.pk3 in base - it works also without, only the new anims will not be shown. Check also ur japlus folder (in GameData) if there are any pk3's that shouldn't be there (refer to docs coming with installation for contents).

When testing don't connect to THAT server, choose another... I don't know how to refuse downloads client-side.

Maybe u check also ur jampconfig.cfg (both, in base and japlus) if there's something unusual in... not sure about.

Generally: no need to delete any files, just move them somewhere ur game can't access them.

Yep, that did it. Must have been one of the pk3 files I loaded for news skins, or possibly a custom siege map. Thanks for the help! PS. I'm NEVER going back to that Eurpoean server, btw! LOL!
