Interesting... What do you have in your "Base" folder? Any self - added .pk3 files (maps & skins)? Mods? If so , clean out everything you added yourself. If the problem dissapears , start putting back file by file and observe how the game behaves after you put back each file. That should tell you if any of the .pk3 files is causing the problem. If that doesn`t help , try reinstalling the game. Also , have you updated your game? If none of this helps , please tell me your computer specs. What OS do you have , CPU , RAM amount , graphic card (manufacturer , generation , VRAM amount , driver version) and DirectX info (version , any problem reports).

Sounds to me like you have some hardware problem. I never heard that updating Windows can cause such problem. Are all your drivers up to date? What methot of updating did you use? One stupid question: Is your copy of Windows legal? Answer theese questions , please. And thoose computer specs would be appreciated.

Wooow... have you considered selling your computer to NASA? I`m sure they could use such super - computer in their control center in Houston , lol. Seriously now. Two Geforce 8xxx graphic cards in SLI? Isn`t that a bit of an overkill? Try disableing SLI and playing with just one graphic card. If the problem remains , then I don`t know what to do. I think that your computer is too "new" for such old game like Jedi Academy. What other games are you trying to play and how old are they?

Hmm... oldies but goldies , huh? Yeah , try playing something newer. F.E.A.R. is a good start. Also , try playing thoose old(er) games without SLI and let me know what happens. Sometimes SLI can cause problems , especially with old(er) games.
