O.k. I have searched the net and searched these forums with NO difinitive answer, so I am asking here: I am getting the error "ran out of transform space for ghoul2 models. adjust miniheapsize in sv_spawnserver."
I notice this problem happens when I use the "ultimate blood/wba" weapons mod. From what I can conclude, it has something to do with perhaps to many projectiles? I am working on an sp mod which incorporates these things and I notice the problem only when I play the mod, yet if I spawn a room and load it with tons of npc's, there is no problem. So please, if someone could tell me how to adjust the heapsize ormake the error dissapear, I would greatly appreciate it.
I have managed to isolate the problem. It seems a certain playermodel was causing the error ("ninja" model for Darth Kitty's snake model pack). I am still uncertain as to what aspect this triggers the error? I had a similar error w/ Dak's Leela Civ model so I am guessing that perhaps to many model options can trigger it? If anyone knows, please post a response, Thank you.
Hmm... If I were you, I would change existing blood mod and reduce the drops number... It really lags, and makes too many of blood pools... Unnessesary.
Anyway, I think the reason are models. As you saw, that blood mod leaves blood on playermodels. And that models are probably uncompatibile with the blood mod g2 system
I do not think it is a matter if the blood being incompatible w/ the model, as I have tested this with the "problem" model and i works...just not in the mod. I will look into the drop # to see what comes of it. Is there a cvar or command to change the miniheapsize? Thank you!
I think this error is caused by models with to many surface options. If anyone else has any other suggestions, please post! Thx!
I have the same problem with the newer snake model. Perhaps an incorrect skin file?
I have found the ever elusive problem!!! It appears that when you want to make a part of a model disappear, using "clear" will work...however you will get errors in doing so with SOME models. If you use "*off" instead, all the errors go away...man, I cannot believe it was that simple. So in closing:
i have the same prob with a hilt i downloaded ... but i'm not making models and i cant work with 3dprogs so i don't know what u mean with " *off>clear" and where i can change this ... if u could tell me how to change it or if u could do this for me ... here's a link to the *.pk3 if u want to try this first ... http://home.arcor.de/toamh/redsaber.pk3
*off>clear is put in the ".skin" file next to the part of the model you wish to make invisible ingame.
