I put my CD in, I wait for the autorun, I click MP, I wait. I hear the opening logo for LucasArts, yet my screen is blank. Nothing happens, so I CTRL ALT DELETE to get out and find it running. I click on the icon, I click MP, I wait. Same thing happens. This happens in all the combinations of Putting in the CD or not, and clicking the icon instead of the autorun and not. Anyone have ANY Idea how to solve this? My guess is it has to do with my video card, which I'm replacing soon.

What version are your drivers?

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

Should I have downloaded the Professional x64 versions?

Unless you're running a dual core CPU using Windows XP 64 bit edition, no.

Without knowing the specifics of your card's chipset, I can't really determine whether that's the issue or not. And, I can't really determine your exact chipset without examining the card itself, which is impossible from a practical point of view.

Sounds like your system just isn't capable of running JKA... as impossible as that sounds.

Well, that's assuming you've already tried reinstalling, which I assume you have...

lol, um no... SHAME ON ME. The funny thing is I was playing it the same day it happened. Our computer had had corrupted RAM, so we went and bought new RAM, and I mentioned to my Uncle (Computers are his Carrer) that Battlefield Vietnam was acting weird at high resolutions, so he figured it was the drivers, so he downloaded those drivers assuming that was the problem, which it wasn't because BFV still is choppy at high resolutions. So I went to play JKA, and it wouldn't load - like I said. So my question is, would re-installing the Drivers as well fix it, or is it the RAM???

Hey, I'm having the exact same problem and I was wondering if you'd figure it out. I have the same video card and everything, but I've played JA with it before so I'm not sure if that's the problem or if it's just an insane coincidence. I have the newest drivers, but I'm thinking about getting some older ones to see if that'll help.

Sorry, I haven't been able to. The weird thing is that I can't run and Lucas Arts game. JA, JO, KOTOR... It's like they've plauged me.
