I'm currently running a dedicated server with Forcemod3. Ranging from around 10 to 45 minutes into a game it will give everybody a "connection interrupted" message, and everybody have to reconnect to the server. This is no homebrewed server, it's a Jolt Uberserver and all the clients who are connecting have low pings and good machines - so lag is not the issue here.
Does anyone know what might cause this and how to fix it?
Hmz well i dont use forcemod3 so i don't know if this is mod related.
But you can try contacting the person thats hosting your server maybe they having technical diffeculties or know what the problem is.

I'm no server genius, but I'm going to assume that's a bought/paid-for server. Have you tried contacting the company? If I'm wrong feel free to pwn me ;)
Inyri, yes it is, but it's not like they set up the games for me. I run and set up all the games and settings by using remote desktop.
True, but if they're running the actual server it stands to reason that they should be responsible for its uptime and gameplay quality... or something like that.
Uptime and service is 100%, I kid you not. This has to do with JKA and/or the mod, not the server - I am sure of that.
Uptime and service is 100%, not to mention that the performance is extremely good. The problem is JKA and/or the mod, but I don't know exactly what it is.
Well I guess I can see that, but did you try the server company's tech support? If they even have tech support... They should know things like that, since they're providing the service I just find it strange that a mod would wait to cause problems until 10-45 minutes into a session. Of course everyone here knows I'm no genius with the whole multiplayer thing, so I must just not be able to wrap my brain around it :lookaround: .
Of course they have tech support, but they are not experts on game engines. Yes, the connection interrupted incidents seem to happen randomly during games. Now, has anyone experienced this when playing on dedicated servers?
