In some of the maps I have the FPS is a little "glitchy" for lack of a better term. What I mean is on some maps the movement is smooth, in others it jumps and hesitates and slows down. The FPS default is 0. Can I change it in the console to improve it? I've tried deleting other games, etc., that I don't need. Any assistance would be appreciated. Many thanks.:)

It all depends on your PC's capabilities. Instead of removing other games to free up storage space, shut down all running programs before starting up JA(at least I assume it's JA). If that doesn't have any effect, try turning down your video settings from the setup menu. If you've already done all of that and there's still no change, upgrade your computer with more RAM and a better video card.

well... cg_drawfps 1 will show your FPS (above 25 should be alright ) or, you can use cg_lagometer 1 (or it might be cg_lagometre 1, stupid american spelling) to see how much you are lagging. Then tell me what maps and areas you are lagging on.
