all I know about this error is that I think it is common.
in game, when I go on my elevator I press the trigger, the elevator goes up like it should. the problem is, is that it doesn't go down unless I get off the elevator.
I thought "could I be setting something wrong". I don't know so can someone please help me out? thank you in advance :bows:
well, if its in multiplayer, im sure thats how it works, you need to trigger points so it can go up and down, aka one at top and one at bottem
default wait-value of an func_door is 2 seconds i belive.. so it should go down after those 3 secs..
If it doesn't go back down, sound like you only made the triggers for going up, and not linking them to go back down again.
If you are using path_corner (or something similar), make sure you are doing:
Targetname: (name of the starting position) Target: (name of ending position)
And then vica versa to make it go back down
Targetname (name of ending position) Target: (name of starting position)
