Hi my game crashes online eveytime i play but set me back to menu and says: Error: Ran out of transform space for Ghoul2 models. Adust miniHeapSize in SV_SpawnServer. What does this mean? How do i fix it? Im on JA 2.4 BETA but on a JA 2.4 Beta server. Played on it plenty of times and other server without JA 2.4 BETA like JA 2.3 or lower without any problems. Could someone please tell me how to fiz this.

You downloaded anything for JKA recently?, if so remove it from your Base folder as it would most likely be causing the problem.

Just models is the only thing that been added, but played with those models before without problems.

Try removing those models from your base folder and going onto the server again and see if that works. That error normally occurs if theres a corrupt pk3 file in your base folder.

Thank you, hard to believe a model can crash a game. Never had that happen. Thanks again, Tanith.

Depends on the detail level of the model. The Quake 3 engine has tight restrictions on how much detail models can have, and each rendered model (i.e. each model currently in use) is given a specific allowance.

There are three scenarios where that error will come up.

1) You or someone else is using a model which has far too much detail in it.

2) The game client has buffered (loaded) too many game models. This usually occurs when someone changes model a lot.

3) Too many NPCs have been spawned, pushing the game past the limit of how many Ghoul2 (.glm) files it can load.

So, be wary of those three factors, and you should never have to see this error again.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

So does this mean if a model has too much detail that makes it looks really good it will cause the game to crash ? beacause i played it before a couple times with no problem on other servers. Every once in awhile it cause lag or crashes untill it started crashing every time a couple days ago. ( i got the 300 spartan model and jango fett pack) both have grat detail work. Game works online now that i took both out.
