Hey, I have a problem I was wondering if I could get some help on. Me and my friend were going to get back into academy, but I have an issue. I've seen it before, so I know it's possible, but we can't find a way to invite each other, or join each other's, game. Say, I would start a server, and my friend would enter in a code or recieve an invite and be able to join my server, without anyone else coming. Is there anything I need to download, or just a code I don't know? Thanks in advance.

There's no invite feature built in to Jedi Academy. The closest you can get is sending your friend the IP address of the server you're playing on.

However, you can achieve a similar effect using Xfire. By adding each other to your friends lists, Xfire will show the two of you when the other is playing the game, and the other can simply right-click your name in their friend list and select 'Join Game' to have Jedi Academy launch and auto-connect to the server you're playing on. (Note that this may cause conflicts with the clientside component of some server mods.)

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

Thanks a lot for your speedy response, but before I try this, how exactly do you find out the IP address of your server?

If you press the Escape key to bring up the menu bar, and select the About option (or similar, I forget the exact wording), the IP address should be displayed in that info box.

So if I tell my friend the IP address, is there a place to enter it, or is there a consle command he needs to enter?

Entering /connect into the console should suffice.

Thanks a lot. It's good to know Jedi Academy still has a strong and supportive fan-base behind it! :D
