Hi I'm RASAS I was working on learning on how to create the mod of darth vader, but I'm still working on buying the programs, but also I want to know how to change the all saber style stances into the strong saber stance, I've tried to change all the saber stances into the strong saber stance, but the character could not use the move of the style properly. Can anyone please help me and give me the information I need to achieve the task I'm trying to achieve?

Alright if some people did not understand what I mean this is the simple meaning; medium style : strong saber stance fast style: strong saber stance This is what I want to do, to have both the medium and the fast styles to have the strong saber stance instead of their original stances. Can anyone please tell me how to do something like this? Kouen if your there can you please help me out with this?

There's two ways you could do this. One would work only when the player is using a specific saber, the other would work all the time and on every model out there.

For the saber, there's a .sab line that defines the allowed saber stances, so you could simply set it to allow only the strong style.

For the one that works all the time, you'll need to find the strong style animations in the .cfg file of the same name and replace the medium and fast style frames with those of the strong style.

Can I ask what this is for? There may well be easier methods of achieving the same effect.

There aren't. Past that, they only get more and more complicated.

Are you sure the advice you gave me will work, I mean I don't want to replace the medium and fast styles I just want to replace both their stances and have them have the strong saber stance. There will still be a medium and fast style, but both styles will have the strong stance. The character will still be able to use all 3 styles, but there will only be strong stance, each style will be able to use the same styles, but the styles stances are all strong stance.

So you want just the standing animation? That's even easier. Open up a model in ModView, find the stance names, then open the animations.cfg, find the animations and simply switch the frames around. Basically you take the frame numbers for the strong stance standing animation and overwrite the medium and fast standing anim frames. Although this will apply to every player model ever made.

Thank you, but theres a big problem it seems that this type of job would require the sdk for jedi academy which I do not know how to use.

The SDK is just a bunch of programs you can use to view the various files that JA uses, like models and shaders. The animations.cfg is in assets1.pk3. And that's the maximum you'll need.

How do I only let one playermodel be affected by the process in only having the strong stance for each of the single saber styles?
