So, if you've taken the time out to read this, I appreciate it.

Every time I try and start up JKA, it gives me an error such as this:

JA: v1.0.1.0 win-x86 Oct 24 2003 Initialising zone memory ..... ----- FS_Startup ----- ERROR: filename length > MAX_QPATH ( strlen(music/epiii_boc/AlbumArt_{4B33C987-91F3-412A-A45B-655B81F329E7}_Large.jpg) = 73)

with a flashing red to yellow text saying:

Error: filename length > MAX_QPATH ( strlen(music/epiii_boc/AlbumArt_(4B33C987

Does anyone know where exactly the error is? I tried looking for that file in my computer to possibly delete it, but it cannot be found.

I'd really be thankful for some help.

-Thanks.

Some smartass packaged the album art inside their mod's pk3. You'll have to go into the pk3 file itself, locate the file at the filepath the error lists, and delete it.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

Thank you for replying.

So, it's in a mod's .pk3 file?

Which one would it be in though? I have at least 2 or 3, probably 4 mods.

I haven't played JKA in so long and I'd really like to get back into it, so I'm curious as to where it could be...

Any ideas?

The only mod I can think of right off the top of my head, with the initials 'boc' involved and related to Episode III, would be Battle Over Coruscant.

If you have that map installed, checking inside it's pk3 for your problem file should be the first order of business.

Guessing by the filepath, it's an episode III mod. Take them out and see if it fixes it. If it does, put them back one-by-one to find out what mod is causing it.
