I go into the folder, and nothing has been deleted. How can i reinstall it now?

Try running this file. Make sure you able to view hidden/system files.

C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{0D994CC5-819F-4657-84DD-397B8FE1EA80}\Setup.exe

If you can't find the file/folder in question, search through your system registry for Lucasarts. You'll eventually find an entry called "UninstallString". This should point you in the right direction.

I don't have that entry. I tried copy/pasting your file address/name into the Run prompt. First, I forgot to enclose the address in quotations, then I did enclose it in quotations, and then it said file was not found, so I decided to go in manually and look that way, but I don't see the folder {0D994CC5-819F-4657-84DD-397B8FE1EA80}. So I'm going to look around and see if I can figure it out w/ this help. Thank you...

Like I said above, try searching in your registry.

  1. Click Start
  2. Run
  3. type: 'regedit', then click 'OK'
  4. Go to the following path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\1.0 - Here you'll find a key called 'UninstallString'. This file will show you where your install shield un-installer is located
  5. Double-click UninstallString
  6. Copy/Paste the value in your Start->Run and execute or manually go to file

Hope this helps.

I found the InstallShield folder for JA in the InstallShield directory, and simply deleted that folder. Then, it reinstalled fine. Thanks for the start.
