yea hello i am having a bit of a problem when installing jedi academy on my computer these are the two things that pop up only when i insert disk two, disk one works fine this is what they say right after i put disk two in it comes up with this Guru meditation failure: Assertion Failed: "!strSecind.empty()"! File: Source\clt_State.cpp Line: 147 Abnormal Termination Select Retry for an environment dump. when i click retry it comes up with the send error report but the installiation still goes on the next problem pops up at 100% Component: Game2 File group: Game 2 Files File: E:\Gamedata\Gamedata\Base\assets1.pk3 Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check). after it does that it shuts down the installation so any help would be GREAT!!

CRC error relates to problems reading your installation CD. You might want to clean it if it seems to be dirty. If it has scratches, you might still try to wipe it carefully in case some dirt was stuck in the scratch and/or you could try another CD/DVD drive for the installation (in case you have two) because they could have different tolerances for media damage.
Other than that, hard to say what you could try, aside from getting new media. If you just bought the game new then it's easy because the shop obviously is responsible for replacing a faulty disk.

In my personal experience, I've found that the CRC error also comes up when using a fake disc, or one purchased from GAME.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
