Hey, I just re-installed JKA for the first time in a few months, and I am having issues with finding a server on the internet to play on, I cant find any. I configured my firewall to allow jamp.exe ALL access to the internet (im using bitdefender 9) and i still cant get any sign of connection with the MP mode. Do I have to configure my router as well to allow it through? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Configure your router to open up port 29070. That should do the trick.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

Did you remember to switch the thing at the top from "local" to "internet"?

Is that a D-Link? :p

Oh, and you really don't have to open ports unless you're hosting a game. Did you patch JA?

Try disabling your firewall and then playing JA.

Try turning off all your firewalls, and if that fixes the problem, turn each back on seperately, and see if that one was causing the problem. If it's not, turn it off and turn a different one on.

Basically test which firewall (or combination of firewalls) is causing the problem in a systematic way.

Peer Guardian 2?

I'm surprised ANYTHING is unblocked. That'll be your problem right there.

Shut that down and you'll find a lot of stuff becomes accessible once again.
