Hi , I m sorry if this topic has been done before but i couldnt find what i was looking for. If anyone knows what is the main difference betwen sp and mp dmgs, and i dont mean the damage scale. I heard from some ppl on the servers that sp dmgs are location based (u can get a headshot with saber or sth like that ), some other guy told me that sp dmgs are random and location based. I dont know anymore. If smb has an idea of what im talking about pls help . Thx <---- noob :) (not)

Well, I don't have the precise specs, but ''MP damage'', which is really just a damage system Slider invented, is more meant for rapid-regeneration full force FFAs. In it, yellow is far stronger, and there is less of a blocking rate. Red is practically worthless, as is blue. Expect people to be crouching and spamming the strafing fans with yellow, AKA, alternating between left and right strafe while holding down primary fire, if you switch to MP damages. However, it also nerfs the other two sabers extremely bad. SP damages are, by default, location based. However, this too, can be turned off seperately. I believe the cvar is something like ''g_locationbaseddamage". MP damages, by default, are not location based damages, however, they can be. Also, the random damage factor cannot be escaped in Jedi Academy, without serious modifications to the combat-system that would most likely -not- be server-wise, and would require a whole new mod.
