Probably not, unless your computer has an abysmally low amount of RAM.

Did you make sure to patch the game?

What's your operating system?

Do any error dialogs pop up?

Are you using any mods?

More info we get, the better support we can offer you.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

Well, maybe you got a firewall that blocks it. I got BullGuard and its firewall can disallow applications to start up if I don't allow it. Maybe you could check that out. Still, a long shot, but I don't have any more suggestions right now.

If the game is disallowed internet access by a firewall, the only thing that'll happen is that it won't be able to send or receive data over your internet connection.

Integrated graphics. Ick. Yeah, that's your problem. Jedi Academy needs a 32mb OpenGL 1.4 compatible AGP or PCI 3D graphics accelerator card in order to run, and the SiS 650 graphics chip basically has no 3D acceleration capabilities.

Graphics cards are pretty cheap these days, unless you go for top-shelf SLI technology (which is totally unnecessary unless you want to play Unreal Tournament 3 or CrySIS on max settings with 60fps). What you need to do is get a GeForce or Radeon card (any GeForce from the FX series or higher would be sweet, don't know about Radeon equivalents), install that card, and disable your integrated graphics chip.

If you need help with installing a new graphics card and disabling your integrated graphics, I'd suggest asking in Tech Discussion, where all of our resident tech-heads hang out.
