hey, a friend of mine recently updated their graphics card and now his jedi knight 3 game is no longer working. He uses an Acer quad core and the graphics card version he updated to was i think ati radeon 4650.

when he tried to get into the game he got an error message, saying something about missing an installation file.

Can someone shed some light on the issue? thanks :)

I'd like to know what operating system he's using. Because it very well might not be his Graphics Card, but his Operating System. That's why with mine, I have to run JA in half-screen mode, and in admin mode.

What exactly does the error message say?

There's a problem with jedi knight 2/3 and recent ATI drivers. Don't know if that's what your friend's experiencing... There's a fix for that problem: ATI Fix for OpenGL Crashes (Latest Drivers) - Steam Users' Forums
