At first without the ATI fix, it just went black and went back to my desktop. When I did the fix (I'm on the version 10.10 drivers for Radeon HD 5500 series) it just crashes, I went back and got the 10.4 for the fix, but it still doesn't work.

Here's the error message. AppName: jamp.exe AppVer: 1.0.1.0 ModName: atioglxx.dll ModVer: 6.14.10.9756 Offset: 0000b764

Eh, another case of ATI and Jedi Academy not getting along. =p

What kind of computer do you have? Desktop or laptop? What OS?

That's weird. Proper graphic card + Windows XP + proper drivers + fix = game doesn't work.

What's your currently installed DirectX version?

This doesn't make sense. The game should work. Is this the first time you're trying to run it or has the game worked before?

That's the thing, I uninstalled it about a month ago due to my community, but decided to come back again. It worked perfectly before, and it's not now, I've patched it, done the ATI fix, reinstalled it like 3 different times and it still won't work.

This kind of situations make me want to say "frak ATI and get NVIDIA", but since people aren't too keen on buying new hardware just for a single game, I'll stow it. =p

When you uninstalled the game, did you make a 100% full deinstallation? That means manually removing any residual files and folders (usually self added stuff, like skins, maps, etc. the uninstaller leaves behind), checking if the Registry entry has been removed too and removing it if necessary?

I kept my base folder (it's like 1-2 gigs), but I deleted the assets from before and just put all the skins and stuff back in, is that what's causing it?

This is a known problem with the latest ATI drivers. The latest ATI drivers will break JA and make it unplayable, even on clean installs. Best case would be to reinstall JA + your drivers (minus the latest ones)
