check for hardware problems, it could possibly be that your computer is overheating, try cleaning the fans in your computer.

Jeez, reformatting your computer is really heavy. Why not try just cleaning your registry of JK3 files as well as doing the remove programs bit in XP. Use RegCleaner (Google for it). and do a clean reinstall. All this reformatting the computer business that some people get into is really quite severe, and possibly not really necessary. Do the simple things first dude!

Indeed. Also, make sure all your drivers are up to date. winkx.gif

ok well it seems no one has stated the obvious so im gona, have you checked your screen saver? because ive played games where my screen saver screwed it up, and for some reason it would still activate even while i was movin my mouse, but then at the same time another game the screen saver wouldnt activate, so mayb thats it? considering uve tried everything else everyones said, i figure sometimes stating the obvious helps from time to time
