Ok, I have started a server for LugorMod and have a problem. I run it as dedicated and select internet, but my internet uses a router so it can't get to other computers except Local, can someone help me so I can host my own server? Like how to make it so it is in the internet server list?:bawl:

I don't know much about this whole dedicated server thing, but I know it definitely won't work unless you open the ports on your router. Just explain why you want to do it to your dad, and he might even help you with it :P

You have to have your ports forwarded to the game that you would like to host for, so you would have to edit it... Sorry.

However, if you can get a LAN cable to your laptop (Directly from the wall) then you could host (Editing your own firewall, depending on what firewall you have)

well technically it is just for your computer because when you forward a port, usually you can specify which local IP is affected by the forwarding. sooo you can set it up so that only your computer forwards the port, and not other computers on your network.

I found out that if you install Hamachi it forwards the ports automatically, so ppl that don't have hamachi can connect =). You can get it here: Download Hamachi 1.0.3.0 - FileHippo.com
